Kenwood TM-V7 Controller
Kenwood TM-V7 Controller is a Windows application that allows remote control of the TM-V7 via the PG-4W programming cable (or any compatible USB-to-serial adapter). It was designed to keep radios with a faulty or unreadable display fully operational. Memory management and control are included. Several features have been implemented to bypass some of the limitations of the CAT protocol and the radio’s firmware (e.g. VFO or Memory Scan, reverse function, etc.).
Usage notes
The software scan works but is limited by the CAT communication speed: keep the listen parameter at no less than 500 ms, otherwise scanning becomes unstable and signals may be missed. Configuration menus open in two ways — double-click on the control, or right-click.

This app is freeware and is not code-signed, so Windows Defender may show a false-positive warning (Trojan:Script/Wacatac.C!ml) on first download. This has been reported to Microsoft for correction.
